Bamboo And CocoDog Training for the Rest of Us

Can anyone help please?

We have "adopted" an app Bearded Collie Male Age; 6/7yrs. He had never been in a house outside of being "abused" We believe he may have been neglected or abused. When we were first "introduced" to him, he was so nervous it took over an hour for him to approach us, even then, a sudden movement on our part and it would scurry. Deciding to give him a better life, we took him with patience and love we have in two weeks, has won his confidence and his house has been trained in a week. For now, we have not been able to find a new answer, his "fear" sudden noises that light. Thanks to "foreigners", he backs away frantically. (I hasten to mention that it is not an aggressive dog). I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and found a solution.

Firstly I would just tell ur done a wonderful job. I rescued a dog 18 years ago, unfortunately, I must have sleep last tuesdey and he destroyed it had been thrown down stairs queers broadcast on the kick to slam the unthinkable things and he was so loving yet for years I had he put his tail between his legs and shake when ever they passed him, but with everything he had lived not once did he bite or show any nastyness to my 4 children or anyone if a door slams, or something fell over he ran to a corner where it says that the person who had first used to bang his fist on a table there or a stick before he hurt your dog may have been in a similar situation and therefore back, but I know that I gave the best years as ur going and makes me lose face a little better follow the good work x
