Silent whistle and dog training show.?
Is there a reason why people do not use a whistle to train their silence dog competitions? I see at dog shows, German Shepherds, that the owners run around the ring while ringing the bells to their dog looks good, ears and proud. Why would not we use a whistle to silence? It could then be effectively used in an exhibition all races – Maybe??
The GSD people do this, it is called double handling. The manager is in the ring and outside bells with someone or other things. It is not supposed to be allowed, but they are the only race I think that much. Other breeds that we have used a bait or a squeaky toy to get the ear.
