best lab dog or golden retriever?
I get a service dog. The training center's labs and golden retrievers. I need to know which is best for me. I would prefer it not shed much (though I'm not leaving too much hair in friend), and is the most allergy friendly person who could be around him. I could put a shirt on him if we are in a confined space like an airplane. I am ready to bathe and use the FURminator often. But perhaps the dog to be bathed often? Or how can I reduce shedding and allergies for others when I get out? Personally, I prefer the laboratory that short hair suits me better. I think we are leaning toward a laboratory. But what would best? I'm not worried about hair at home. Just other places and people of other allergies. I think I'll get a lab.
I am also very surprised at your program is suggesting the possibility that you can choose which race you prefer before meeting the dogs available. I also agree that race does not matter as much as a good match. Do not focus on bathing your dog too often, should not be a primary concern. Keep an open mind and meet the animals they have in their school and you know what animal will be the best for you. They inform you about how to manage your animals in areas like airplanes, they will most likely propose a jacket, shirt NOT … In the years my work with service dogs and many flights with people with disabilities, we have been fortunate enough to have never met anyone who claims having problems with an allergy to dogs. It happens, but they can teach you how to deal with that. Keep an open mind. get this which is better for you, so far as possible to work with a coach who can be objective and not blinded by trivialities like the color fur when choosing which animal is best suited to work with a new owner …. yes … its great to have a beautiful animal standing proudly next to you, but it isn't more important to have a faithful companion who can be there and always ready to help you make your life less embarrassed?
