Tibetan Terrier Dog Breed Description, History, Grooming health problems and living conditions
Description: Here we see a dog square but well proportioned, of medium size. The leader of the Tibetan Terrier is medium in size. The teeth meet in a scissor bite or reverse scissors. The nose is black. This breed has big dark brown eyes, and they are fastened together. It was pending, V-shaped ears that hang close to the head. The Tibetan Terrier has a tail that is curled up on the back, and it is well feathered. Here we see the legs slightly higher than the front legs. This dog a double coat that has an undercoat soft and woolly a generous outer layer that is straight to wavy, thin and long. The coat can come in all colors and patterns. This dog is 14-17 inches tall and weighing 18 to 30 pounds. Life expectancy is 12-15 years.
History: The Tibetan Terrier is part of the former breed of dog. This breed has contributed to all other Tibetan breeds, like the Tibetan Spaniel, Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso and. This race is not a true burrow. Tibetan monks had the dog about 2 thousand years ago and was considered a bearer of good luck. This first race came to America in 1956 by another doctor called Dr, H and Ms. Murphy of Virginia. They were then recognized for the breed with the AKC in 1973. This dog has talent in competitive obedience and agility and is a watchdog.
Temperament: The Tibetan Terrier is a fun loving dog with great stamina. This breed is very intelligent and brave, it is also dedicated to the owner. Like all dogs, this dog, you will need to be a good pack leader. This will stop the dog become stubborn and excessive barking. The barking is loud and you should train the dog to stop barking on command. This dog without good leadership, and the rules can become worthy of trust with children and can become very reserved with strangers. This breed needs a good physical and mental exercise everyday, give them a healthy balance in their lives. If the Tibetan Terrier has a good balance and the leadership he is the most wonderful companion and a great family member.
