How can you train a dog to do tricks where the dog is almost 3 years. old?

My dog does not listen, but it is very loyal.He follows me everywhere, but it will not do tricks!

Do not be afraid … 3 years is hardly a grown dog! Your suggestion boy is still many young enough to learn all sorts of new things. I second Misa M's to look into clicker training. Clicker training is great for a lot of training solutions, but it just made specifically for pipes education. It's the same way they teach the orcas and other objects at Sea World – they just use a whistle instead of a box clicker. The clicker is a simple little box noisemaker that there was nothing special in itself, but when you connect the sound with a food reward (one click = treatment, always), you can start to click when your dog does something you want, and lets you mark the exact moment that the past behavior. You can train without clicking, but there is much more work to estimate – Is the difference between a butter knife and a scalpel. If several seconds elapse between the behavior of the dog and treat or praise, they will not connect the two things. In addition, the clicker becomes a game for the dog – in their minds, it's like you learn! "Ok, if I do that here, I can do Mom / Dad click and give me a treat … yes!
